UCU and UNITE Strike for more than 1% pay offer on 31st October 2013
As a last resort UCU and UNITE went on strike to try to improve the 1% pay offer. Since 2009 we have lost 13% of our pay and inflation marches on. The turnout at Queen's was a good one and there was a lot of media attention from BBC and UTV.
