What we need is a Staff Common Room at Queen's University !

Queen's University must be the only university on these islands that does not have a staff common room.
Why is this?
Some of you will remember that we did have a substantial  one some time ago - where the Student Guidance Centre is now.   But it was closed under the last VC with no replacement.
We need one so that staff from different parts of the university can come together in the interests of collegiality.

This is the building that used to house a substantial Senior Staff Common Room
